Purpose and Availability

The Furniture Assembly Service by AHF Depot offers an affordable and convenient solution for assembling furniture products purchased from AHF Depot. This service is available only in the following zip codes: 34470, 34471, 34472, 34473, 34474, 34475, 34476, 34477, 34478, 34479, 34480, 34481, 34482, 34483.


Pricing and Payment Terms

Initial Fee: Scheduling a furniture assembly service costs $119, payable at the time of booking. This fee covers the first 1 hour of labor, which is typically sufficient for assembling 1 or 2 furniture items. This fee is non-refundable.

Additional Time: Additional time is billed at $60 per hour in 30-minute increments. For example:

1 hour and 15 minutes: Original $119 + $30 = $149

1 hour and 30 minutes: Original $119 + $30 = $149

1 hour and 45 minutes: Original $119 + $60 = $179

Additional charges will be billed via invoice and mailed certified to your address, due within 14 days.

Late Fees: Late fees are applied to unpaid invoices at a rate of 2.99% of the past due amount per month, plus a flat fee of $0.30.

No Payment Plans: All invoices must be paid in full.


Cancellation Policy

Up to 24 Hours Before Scheduled Time: You can cancel your assembly service and reschedule without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Within 24 Hours of Pickup: Cancellations within the last 24 hours will result in forfeiture of the initial $119 payment. Rescheduling will require an additional $119 payment.

No-Show Policy: If you schedule a pickup and our technicians arrive but you are not present and did not cancel in advance (no call/no show), the initial $119 payment will be forfeited. Rescheduling will require an additional $119 payment.


Service Documentation

Pre-Service Signature: All assembly services require a digital signature before the technician begins the assembly service. This will document the technician’s arrival and start time, as well as your acknowledgment of the payment terms.

Post-Service Signature: After assembly is completed, you will be required to digitally sign again to indicate your satisfaction with the assembly and document the technician's ending time. Copies of both documents will be provided to you digitally.


Coverage and Guarantees

Damaged or Missing Parts: If your items arrive damaged or with missing parts, our technician will pick up the affected item at the time of booking, order replacements, and reschedule your assembly service at no additional cost. This process may take a few days, and you will be contacted by phone to reschedule. You will be required to sign a digital document explaining what happened and what is covered to ensure the item will be replaced and the service rescheduled.

Assembly Guarantee: We guarantee the quality of our assembly workmanship. If an item is inadvertently damaged during assembly, we will replace it for free and reschedule your assembly service at no additional cost. This process may take a few days, and you will be contacted by phone to reschedule. You will be required to sign a digital document explaining what happened and what is covered to ensure the item will be replaced and the service rescheduled.


Eligibility

We only assemble products that are purchased from AHF Depot and associated with the order number provided at booking.


Liability Waiver

By scheduling an assembly service, you agree to the following liability waiver:

Damage During Removal: AHF Depot is not liable for any damage to your property, including but not limited to walls, floors, and other furniture, that may occur during the assembly process.

Personal Injury: AHF Depot is not liable for any personal injury that may occur to you or any other person present during the assembly process.

Third-Party Liability: AHF Depot is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused by third parties, including our contractors and delivery personnel, during the assembly process.

Property Condition: You agree to ensure that the items to be picked up are accessible and that there are no hazardous conditions that could endanger our technicians. AHF Depot is not responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting from unsafe conditions at your property.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AHF Depot, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the assembly of your furniture.


Agreement to Terms

By scheduling an assembly service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all of the terms and conditions of the Furniture Assembly Service. This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and AHF Depot regarding the service and supersedes any prior agreements or representations.
